"The chairs of the ISA99 committee on Industrial Automation and Control Systems Security are pleased to announce that the committee has completed a draft copy of the following document and is releasing it for review and approval by the voting members of the committee:
ISA-62443.03.03 (99.03.03): Security for Industrial Automation and Control Systems: System Security Requirements and Security Assurance Levels
All ISA99 members and other interested parties are encouraged to read the document and its associated attachments carefully and submit your comments, questions or suggestions for improvement to the content, using the comment forms provided. Voting Members are asked to submit a ballot on approval of this document as an ISA standard.

Voting Members, please be aware that the ISA Standards Procedures states the following:
"Failure by a voting member to submit a vote on any two letter ballots in any twelve-month period shall result in a change in status from voting membership to information membership…" (section 4.3.3)
The ballot is due 27 Oct. 2011, 23:00 UTC (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ ).
Update: Balloting for this standard closed on October 27, 2011. The ballot passed with 18 approval votes and 5 disapproval votes. More than 500 comments were received during the ballot process. As yet another clear indication of the global interest in the work of ISA99, the draft is currently being circulated to IEC TC65 for voting due in mid-March 2012.
