Work Group 2 - Security Program Definition and Operation
Purpose
This group is focused on the development of standards that address the definition and operaqtion of an effective security program for Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS). In the context of the ISA-62443 series this includes the standards ISA-62443.02.01 and ISA-62443.02.02. In addition to developing the corresponding IEC 62443 standards the group will also address how to align thee standards with those in the ISO 27000 series. It is expected that this will result in the development of an ISO 270xx standard specifically focused on IACS.

Task Group 1 is focused on preparing a revision to the existing ISA-62443.02.01 / IEC62443-2-1 standard that will addressed comments received in the course of the last IEC review and ballot. Task Group 2 is focused on the identification and preparation of new or additional content that will appear in future editions of the ISA-62443.02.02 / IEC 62443-2-2 standards.
